Music started on stage. For years, playing in front of crowds from 50 people to 25,000. Hellfest, Les Eurockéennes, La Cigale, stages across Europe, the USA, Mexico. That feeling of music as something physical and immediate never left.
The move toward film composition wasn't a plan. I kept being pulled toward it. Watching an image change the moment music arrives. Realising that silence can carry as much weight as a full orchestra.
The work begins with the image, its rhythm, its silences, its emotional logic and the score follows from there.
